The Song of the Self-Supreme
Radhakamal Mukherjee (publisher Motilal Banarsidass Publishers 1971)
XIV. Janaka on the natural Dissolution of the Mind
- Janaka said: The wise one who is void-minded by nature perceives objects through inadvertence and is seen as awake though physically asleep. Verily his memories (of the world) are extinguished.
- As my desires melt away, where can be my riches, my friend, my thieves taking the form of sense-objects, where can be the scripture and where the wisdom?
- As I have known the Supreme Self who is the eternal Person as the Witness and who is the Lord, I have no desire for bondage and liberation, nor care for salvation.
